Happy Cozy Season, Family and Friends!
I’m so excited to announce a new adventure: my very own micro bakery!
As many of you already know, baking has been a passion of mine since I was little. As a lover of organization who has the biggest sweet tooth you’ll ever meet (I once ate chocolate chip waffles for breakfast and ice cream for lunch and didn’t bat an eye), baking is the sweet spot of my passion and skills. I (Elizabeth) convinced my mom (Rosemary) to help me whip up delicious baked goods to share with you all and voila! Eliro Bakery was born!
If you’ve got a sweet tooth like me and you’re wondering how to support Eliro Bakery, follow these steps!
Come join us at our Grand Opening on Saturday, November 15th at the St. Lawrence Church Center (3543 St. Lawrence Rd) anytime from 10am-12pm for some free samples, a chance to win free cookies for a year, and a variety of baked goods for sale!

Social Media Post
Client: Eliro Bakery
Challenge: To drive attendance at Eliro Bakery’s grand opening and to introduce the brand. The target audience is women aged 25-75 who are either in need of baked goods for an event, or just have an avid sweet tooth. The target consumer may or may not know Elizabeth and her reputation for delicious baked goods, but many most likely will, especially here at the start of the business.
Solution: The tone for the project was positive and exciting. I accomplished this through the text on the graphic, focusing on the most enticing benefits for potential attendees of the event: free samples and a cookie giveaway. I also added a few other benefits into the limited space: seasonal flavors and more surprises. Most of the current target audience know the owner of Eliro and her reputation for delicious baked goods, so I wanted to get them excited about flavors and bakery items they had never had from Elizabeth before.
In the caption for Elio’s social media, I wanted to make sure not to exclude any possible consumers that did not already know the owner and her products. I started with a short introduction and highlighted the benefits again. I also added a little personality with the sign-off to give it a cutesy vibe that can be used as a signature on all future posts.
In the caption for the owner’s personal social media post, I played more into the relationship she already has with the target audience of her personal post. Although a big benefit for customers who already know her is also delicious free baked goods, I also capitalized on the fact that they will want to support her and her bakery, even more than they will want to just buy the baked goods themselves.
